List of Guns N' Roses' unreleased songs

This is a list of songs that were either recorded or written by Guns N' Roses, but which are rare or never have been released for various reasons. Many of these are available on Guns N' Roses' fansites and/or bootleg albums.

  • Crash Diet is a song that was recorded during the G N' R Lies sessions at Rumbo Recorders in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Goodnight Tonight is a song that is known only to have been performed once in 1986 at The Roxy.
  • Just Another Sunday is a song that was recorded during the Use Your Illusion sessions at Rumbo Recorders in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Too Much Too Soon was also recorded during the UYI sessions.
  • Cornshucker (sometimes called Cornchucker) was written by bassist Duff McKagan and was performed live once. An acoustic version was recorded during the sessions for G N' R Lies. It was considered too obscene to put on the album.
  • It Tastes Good, Don't It? was written by the band during a tour with Iron Maiden. On a bootlegged version of the song, Axl Rose states that they wrote it in an attempt to be kicked off the tour. During the band's early days, they would perform the song live, however, during the Use Your Illusion Tour, Rose would sometimes sing the first verse in the middle of the song Rocket Queen. This can be heard on the second half of the band's Live In Tokyo video.

  • Rhiad & The Bedouins was performed live during the 2001/2002 tour and was scheduled to be on the unreleased Chinese Democracy album. In an interview, keyboardist Dizzy Reed stated that it would not appear on the album.
  • Silkworms was also performed live on the 2001/2002 tour. Like Rhiad & The Bedouins, Silkworms was to appear on Chinese Democracy. In the same interview, Dizzy Reed stated that it would not be on the album.
  • Better performed during the 2006 tour, two different versions were leaked onto the internet.
  • Chinese Democracy performed during 2001/2002 tours and 2006 North American tours, a breif clip was leaked onto the inernet in 2007
  • The Blues performed during 2001/2002 and 2006 tours.
  • Catcher in the Rye leaked onto the internet in mid-2006. Reportedly features Queen guitarist Brian May.
  • There Was A Time performed a handful of times during the 2006 tour and leaked onto the internet.
  • IRS performed during 2006 tour and leaked onto the internet.
  • Madagascar performed during 2001/2002 and 2006 tours.
  • Checkmate [1] Short clip leaked on Radio and Internet May 2006. It has not been confirmed as to whether the song is actually by Guns N' Roses and this is still a subject of debate among fans. The songtitle may also be incorrect.
  • Prostitute Mentioned in numerous articles, and was seen on a picture of a setlist, which briefly appeared on the official website.
  • If The World Was seen on a picture of a setlist, which briefly appeared on the official website.
  • This I Love Mentioned in the past by Axl as an important song he was writing.
