[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel
Japanese version name: Hagane no Renkijustushi - Tobenai Tenshi
Platform: PlayStation 2
[edit] Professor Wilhelm Eiselstein
He's one of Ten Alchemists and considered a world authority on catalytics – the study of making efficient alchemy. Eiselstein is also a friend of Izumi Curtis. He is researching the “Philosopher’s Catalyst,” a legendary material that has powers comparable to the Philosopher’s Stone. When Chimeras attacked the Hiessgart, he took the initiative by evacuating the residents and establishing the New Hiessgart. He stopped Carmilla from transmuting Armony, but his daughter was going to die with her wings destroyed. Then he took Armony to his lab where he took his own life and his daughter's. His name in the Japanese version was actually "Wilhelm Angelstein".
[edit] Armony Eiselstein
Professor Eiselstein’s daughter. Her father strictly prohibited her from learning alchemy because she has no talent for it. As a result, she believes that her father had grown cold to her because of her inability to perform alchemy and she becomes Ed’s student in hopes of winning her father's acceptance. She has a cheerful disposition and is a hard worker with a love for flowers, especially the Etherflower. She has a pair of wings that grow from her back.
The truth was she was a transmutation of Wilhelm's real daughter, Selene. When the Philosopher's Catalyst was complete, an object meant to be transmuted was incompatible with the wings so it rebounded to Selene. The professor used the wings to stop the rebound, but Selene was transmuted to Armony. Armony's source of life is the power of the wings and if that power is directed to somewhere else, she would die. This is the reason why she was forbidden to become an alchemist; when she performs alchemy, she becomes weaker as her hidden wing is revealed. When Camilla learns the truth, she abducts Armony and started to transmute her into her chimeras. Wilhelm intervenes, which results in the destruction of Armony's wings and the scarring of Camilla. Near death, Wilhelm takes his daughter to his lab, where he takes both his life and hers. Her name in the Japanese version was actually "Armony Angelstein", and she's voiced by Nana Mizuki, who voices Wrath in the anime version of FMA.
[edit] Margott Orange Peko
An assistant to Professor Eiselstein. Later in the game, is revealed she is none other than Riza Hawkeye in disguise, and she has infiltrated in Eiselstein's estate in order to gather info on his work.
[edit] Brigadier General Mudey Nemda
An overweight corrupted militant who was blackmailing Professor Eiselstien into making him the Chimeras he used to attack Hiessgart. He was also drafting soldiers without permission to the end of starting a rebellion against the Furher, though he was actually a pawn Camilla used for her own plans. In the end, he was arrested by Central City MPs.
[edit] Colonel Genz Bresslau
The Armor-Piercing Alchemist. He made a special appearance only in the events of Broken Angel. The Elric Brothers encountered him when he led the train hijacking taking alchemists to New Hiessgart he was defeated and his left automail arm was damaged. He modified his body with automail two more times after that. His last appearance was his body transformed into a machine when Camilla transmuted his entire body into automail. No matter how many times he was defeated, he still insisted he is the "strongest" in the military.
[edit] Camilla
The villain of "Broken Angel", an eye-patched woman behind the chimera attacks in Hiessgart, posing as Wilhelm's assistant Greta to get possession of the Philosopher's Catalyst. It turned out she was a legendary alchemist who was working on the Catalyst herself, only to disappear under mysterious circumstances. Her three Chimeras (Behemoth, Griffin, and Leviathan) feed on the flesh of alchemists provided by Nemda to serve as catalysts for a refined Philosopher's Catalyst. With Armony in her grasp, Camilla intended to transmute her Chimeras and Armony to create a perfected Philosopher's Catalyst. However, Professor Eislstein threw an Etherflower at Camilla to cancel the transmuation, destroying the Catalyst in Armony and causing Carmilla's face to mutate in the process. Camilla retaliated for her face and plans ruined by merging her chimeras into a single monster to kill everyone, only for the fused beast to be destroyed by the Elric brothers. Camilla escaped and, according to Hawkeye in "Broken Angel", it is unsure whether she is dead or alive although she is "most likely" pronounced to be dead.
[edit] Rot
Rot is the oldest of the “Alchemy Brothers” and one of the leaders that run a gang of renegade Alchemists in New Hiessgart. He has a tattoo of a transmutation array on his stomach, arms and the back of his gloves that allow him to control fire. When he combines his Alchemy with his brothers all three can control what they call “Living Armor.", empty suits of armor animated by their joint effort. Armony went to them to learn Alchemy but she was only swindled out of her money. It was only after all three were beaten numerous times by Ed and Al did they decided never to attack another State Alchemist. Rot usually wears a red shirt and has an eye patch. His name means "Red" in German.
[edit] Gelb
Gelb is the second oldest of the “Alchemy Brothers” and one of the leaders that run a gang of renegade Alchemists in New Hiessgart. Gelb has a tattoo of a transmutation array on his stomach, arms and the back of his gloves that allow him to control rock. Gelb is seen wearing a yellow shirt and has a short blond mowhawk.
[edit] Blau
Blau is the youngest of the “Alchemy Brothers” and one of the leaders that run a gang of renegade Alchemists in New Hiessgart. He has a tattoo of a transmutation array on his stomach, arms and the back of his gloves that allow him to control ice. Blau never says a word but his brothers, gang members and Armony all seem to understand him perfectly. (All except Ed and Al it seems.) Blau wears a blue shirt with black spiky hair.
[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist: Curse of the Crimson Elixir
Japanese version name: Hagane no Renkijustushi - Akai no Elixir no Akuma
Platform: PlayStation 2
[edit] Arlen Glostner
An elderly man who acts younger than he looks, Arlen is an expert on ancient cultures such as Lebis. He was an adventurous archeologist before he retired, and anything that sparks his interest is most likely to have him resume his research. Almost 50 years ago, he worked alongside Jack Crowley in researching Lebis, and initially supported his attempts to use Golems to resurrect Crowley's lover, Elma. For a while, he, Crowley, and Golem-Elma lived a happy life together, digging up ancient ruins and learning about the "Grand Arcanum of Lebis", a form of ancient alchemy. However, their happiness did not last, and when Elma's body reverted back to soil, Crowley went mad and fervently continued his attempts to bring her back. No longer trusting his former friend, Glostner left him, hoping he would give up on his own. He later settled in the village of Bord'Wan, where he lived until it was destroyed by Crowley's Golem army. He was rescued by the Elric Brothers and the State Military, and aided them in reaching the Lebisic capital of Siam-Sid to stop Crowley.
[edit] Golems
Similar to the Chimeras, a Golem is a creature made of soil, and brought to life by ancient alchemy. Only few Alchemists are known could pull off such transmutation. Only two such beings are listed so far, and both were created from human hosts. Most non-human Golems were able to perform simple types of alchemy, an ability likely bestowed upon them by their creators. Not having souls, their "alchemy" was limited to manipulating their bodies into disguises or weapons.
[edit] Jack Crowley
The main villain of "Curse of the Crimson Elixir". A former State Alchemist, Jack used to be known as the Silver Bullet Alchemist. Like Edward, he possessed the ability to perform alchemy without a transmutation circle, which he may have gained after trying to transmute his dead lover, Elma. After failing to resurrect her, he began researching the ancient civilization of Lebis, earning his State alchemy certification sometime in between. He worked together with Arlen Glostner in studying Lebisic culture, and learned the ancient art of Golem-transmutation. Eventually, after multiple attempts at reviving Elma through Golems, all of which failed when Elma's body turned back into mud, he went mad and ran away to parts unknown. It's likely that his reckless attempts at human transmutation caused him to lose his certification. Sometime after he ran away, he transferred his soul from his ailing body into a Golem, so that he could live long enough to forge the legendary Crimson Elixir. This also gave his body the ability to move through the earth, melting and reappearing at certain locations, as well as allowing him to block Edward's trademark arm blade attack with his bare hand. Fifty years later, he began to use his Golems to abduct people as part of his plan to revive Elma with the Elixir. The Elric brothers caught on to his insane designs, and in their final battle, he reveals his true form as an enormously powerful Golem. After engaging the two in mortal combat, he was ultimately defeated, but his body began to mutate, randomly attacking Mustang, Armstrong and Hawkeye until Edward and Al destroyed the Crimson Elixir. Finally drained of power, Golem-Crowley dissolved into nothing. His human body was left in the Crimson Elixir's chamber, and its ultimate fate is never revealed. Crowley is last seen in a spirit-like form with Elma waving to Edward on the train station as the young alchemist leaves.
[edit] Elma
This mysterious teenage girl in strange clothing handed a strange ring to Ed. It turned out she died long ago as a human, she was revived as a Golem by her lover, Jack Crowley. However, her body was imperfect, which drove him to try again and again to bring her back once more. His attempts to fuse her soul to Golems resulted in the creation of an inhuman alter-ego, known as the Phantom. It appeared as a hideous, humanoid creature with scaly blue skin and jewels encrusted in its body. She appeared to the Elric Brothers in both forms, helping them as Elma, and fighting them as the Phantom. Her fondest wish was to be left to die, so that she could finally know peace. But the Phantom was more selfish, hoping that Crowley could use the Crimson Elixir to bring her back to life as a human. After a fierce battle, she succumbed to her wounds and died, thanking the Elrics for granting her wish. In the Japanese version, she's voiced by Akemi Okamura.
[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist: The Girl that Surpasses God
Japanese version name: Hagane no Renkijustushi - Kami o Tsugu Shoujo
Platform: PlayStation 2
[edit] Sophie Belkman
A mysterious young girl with a strange transmutation circle-like symbol resembling a flower embedded in her left hand. Edward and Alphonse attempt to save her when she is about to be attacked by Leonard at the beginning of the story, but Sophie ends up saving them instead when she emits a strange and powerful light that radiates throughout the metropolis. Like Alphonse, she has a fondness for stray cats. There is a special section of the game where she sacrifices her life to save Ed's, after he is murdered by a mysterious man in a black coat. If the player does not complete a special part of the game, it ends with her dying to help Edward. However, if the player defeats the part, then there is a special animated scene where she is in the hospital with her stray cat. After that, she races to the train station to see Edward, Alphonse, and Winry off. Thinking she is too late, she starts crying, but actually, the threesome waited for her. All four of them pull off a group hug, ending the game with a happy ending. She is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto.
[edit] Lieutenant Colonel Romeo Kregan
He is an officer in the Valdora Military. He is famous as for his excellence as soldier and weapons he made.
[edit] Venus Rosmaria
She is the captain of an independent Valdora Military organization, an attractive woman who dresses very provocatively. She's often referred to as the 'Red Rose' for her customized crimson attire.
[edit] Izzy Toriga
A member of the military, who wears glasses and an olive version of the State Military's uniform. He is one of Rosmaria's subordinates.
[edit] Boris Hanma
Another member of the military, a distinctly fat and short man devoted to his superior, Captain Venus Rosmaria.
[edit] Victor Belkman
Sophie's father and an alchemist who worked with Zerugiu on experiments which likely led to Sophie's powers developing. He later escapes from Zerugiu with his daughter.
[edit] White Witch Velza
A mysterious woman with white hair. Once a kind and benevolent being, she has suffered a great deal because the people around her persecuted her for her strange nature. She is final boss in the game.
[edit] Zerugiu
The Fire Priest and leader of the priests who control the city Sophie lives in. In the past, Zerugiu worked together with Sophie's father on experiments which likely are the source behind Sophie's mysterious powers. He wears a fierce demonic mask and bears the symbol of a lion. He is a good guy at the ending, oddly. At first, he and Roy Mustang bare a rivalrary, but they later become friends. This is proved when, at the ending, he dies, and Roy yells out desperately for Zerigu to stay with him.
[edit] Eagle Tiffany
A young woman with blonde hair and suggestive attire. She bears the symbol of an eagle on her upper left thigh. She is the Wind Priest of the group led by Zerugiu.
[edit] Shadow Leonard
An effeminate young man, who is associated with shadows and a member of Zerugiu's group. His symbol is a shark emerging from the water, which appears on his abdomen. He has the ability to create ice and is known as the Ice Priest. He was the one who, at the beginning, attacked Sophie. Girls in Japan like him a lot, and he is a big hit, probably because of his long hair and revealance of his belly-button.
[edit] Buffalo Bull Godoa
A masked brute bearing the symbol of a buffalo on his shoulder. He is a member of Zerugiu's group known the Earth Priest.
[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist: Straying Rondo
Platform: Game Boy Advance
[edit] Corniche R. Royce
She is a controllable character in the game, and makes an appearance in "Sonata of Memories". Corniche is an alchemist who excelled in the field of medical alchemy, growing up in the care of her home and never left it before. It was because of her brother that she went to Central City and become a State Alchemist to be of use to more people. Although she has quick wits, she would sometimes become a bit of an airhead.
[edit] Lieutenant Colonel Aston Martins
The Thunder Alchemist. He tends to put the moves on the ladies. In battle, he becomes a calm person with great skills with his katana. He was in jail until he was given parole by Mustang to help the Elric brothers in their mission. He has a great interest and some incorrect knowledge in the Samurai code. He was a friend of Colonel Royce. He is also a controllable character in the game, but is killed by Lincor just before the game's final battle.
[edit] Lincor
Formerly the Tuning Alchemist. The villain of "Stray Rondo", Lincor was once known as Colonel Seraphy Royce. His involvement in the Ishbal War made him realize that the State was using alchemists more like weapons. His superior officers set up the rumors that Lincor was creating chimeras via human transmutation. Therefore, Lincor faked his death and began to set up his own war with the State. In the game's last battle, he transmuted himself into his entire castle, and was defeated.
[edit] Randy Rover
Also appears in "Sonata of Memories". Randy was an upper-class alchemist until the Ishbal War reduced him to poverty. On the verge of death, he was saved by Lincor and so as a debt of gratitude, he is willing to serve him with his loyalty. He's proud of his muscular body.
[edit] Kate Rham
Also appears in "Sonata of Memories". Kate never received any love from her parents as a child. One day, she was able to make dolls that moved and talked with her alchemy. After that, her parents died in the Ishbal War and she was found by Lincor, who promised to be her friend. She thinks of her dolls as the next most important thing. She's very sensitive about her size like Edward.
[edit] Dalt Daimler
An Alchemist who helped Lincor, posing as a merchant. He was killed by Randy. His only son was Lute D. Saxophone.
[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist: Sonata of Memories
Platform: Game Boy Advance
[edit] Viola Amore
She is a controllable character in the game. She was an automail engineer. Her family were victims of chimera transmutation.
[edit] Lute D. Saxophon
He is for some time a controllable character in the game, but after some time, he leaves the party and eventually becomes the game's final boss. He was a student under Cravis. He was the one behind the game's events and transmuted his love Lila into a Chimera to save her life as he lacked the skills of healing alchemy. Since then, Lute vowed to make the Military pay for Lila's sake. It turned out he was son of Dalt Dalimer and intended to use the Philosopher's Stone (created from the transmutation of the military's souls) to merge Lila's soul into him. Something went horribly wrong and Lute became a mindless chimera. Lute was killed, but died knowing Lila's feelings for him.
[edit] Lila Amore
She was Viola's little sister and Lute's love interest. She was mortally injured the day Fagott, under military order, transmuted the girl's parents into chimeras. Lute took her to the hospital, but her wounds were too severe. Lute did the only thing he could do: transmute his love into a talking Chimera in order to save her life. Her inhuman form was unintended and he distanced himself from her as a result. Lila was by Fagott's side until they were killed by Lute, who convinced himself the chimera he created was not Lila. Though it was Lute that made her a chimera and killed her, she bore no ill will towards him and loved him. She had her sister Viola tell Lute for her before she died.
[edit] Cravis Fagott
He was a State Alchemist; he was another of Basque's pawns in his 'BeastMan' project. He stripped for position when the public learned he used Viola's parents in a Chimera-transmutation, though they died, and Lila went missing afterwards. Since then, he looked after the chimeras he created and made peace with them. He was killed by his former assistant Lute.
