Her former assistant, a cyborg called The Hacker, released a virus in her, but because her firewall was fully uploaded before the virus hit, she was only left weak. Dr. Marbles and the Cybersquad -- three Earth kids, Matt, Jackie, and Inez -- along with their cyber-bird pal Digit try to recover the Encryptor Chip and keep Motherboard safe from The Hacker.

[edit] Dr. Marbles

Dr. Marbles is the brilliant inventor who services Motherboard. You can tell he's full of ideas by the lightbulb on his head. His speech is peppered with computer terms, like "Backspace!" instead of "Hold on, there a minute!"

Like Inez, Jackie and Inez bouth think very fond Slider, which kind-of gets Matt jealous.

In a running gag, Jackie sometimes overreacts when they are in the middle of a crisis. This encourages Matt to taunt her by making an Oscar-like "award goes to" comment. For example:

Matt: And the award for best dramatic overreaction outburst goes to..... Jackie!
Jackie: Maaaatt, will you please cut it out?!
