List of Celtic languages television channels

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Celtic language television channels are available in Ireland, UK and France. Many speakers of languages like Irish, Welsh and Breton have demanded television channels in their own languages for many years and have been successful, but languages like Scottish Gaelic, Manx and Cornish still don't have a full time television channel. Plans are now being drawn up to create a Scottish Gaelic channel for Scotland which will launch in 2007 and there maybe plans for an Irish language channel for Northern Ireland.
