This list of Canadian universities by endowment contains the universities in Canada with endowments worth C$100 million or greater at fiscal year-end 2005. Also included in this article is a list of Canadian universities with the highest endowments on a per-student basis.

Among Canadian universities, only the University of Toronto has an endowment large enough to rank within the list of U.S. colleges and universities by endowment.

The following are the Canadian universities with the largest endowments, with all figures in Canadian dollars. Institutions that are members of the Group of Thirteen are denoted with .

The following is a list of the Canadian universities with the largest endowments on a per-student basis. The figures are obtained simply by dividing the endowment figures by the total number of students, which includes full-time and part-time students, both undergraduate and graduate.
