On April 1, 1969, Jack Davis became Minister of Fisheries and Forestry serving in that role until June 10, 1971. Responsibility for fisheries and forestry was then transferred to the Minister of the Environment (List) until 1979 when the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans (List) was created.
