List College

List College (known in full as the Albert A. List College of Jewish Studies is the undergraduate school of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Students of the College are also either students at the Columbia University School of General Studies (a program known as the Joint Program) or at Barnard College (an all-women program known as the Double Degree Program). It was previously known as the Teacher's Institute.

- Shuly Rubin Schwartz Phd, current Dean of List College - and author of Rabbi's Wife: The Rebbetzin in American Jewish Life and winner of the 2006 Jewish Book Award.
- Steve Hofstetter, comedian who transfered out of the the Joint Program during his junior year
- Mordechai Kaplan, Rabbi, Professor, and founder of Reconstructionist Judaism (founding Dean)
- Norman Podhoretz, prominent neoconservative and political commentator
