Liscomb is a city in Marshall County, Iowa, United States. The population was 272 at the 2000 census.

Liscomb is located at 42°11′26″N, 93°0′20″W (42.190610, -93.005662)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 km² (1.0 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 272 people, 113 households, and 72 families residing in the city. The population density was 107.2/km² (276.6/mi²). There were 125 housing units at an average density of 49.2/km² (127.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.16% White, 0.37% Native American, and 1.47% from two or more races.

There were 113 households out of which 31.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.0% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.4% were non-families. 31.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the city the population was spread out with 25.0% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 22.1% from 45 to 64, and 16.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 90.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.0 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $40,000, and the median income for a family was $41,071. Males had a median income of $28,750 versus $21,667 for females. The per capita income for the city was $16,678. About 9.2% of families and 8.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 5.2% of those under the age of eighteen and 10.3% of those sixty five or over.
