Anna Lisbet Christina Palme, née Beck-Friis (born March 14, 1931) is the widow of late Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme. They married on June 9, 1956.

Lisbet Palme is educated as a child psychologist.

She was chairman for UNICEF 1990 – 1991.

Olof Palme was shot and killed in central Stockholm on February 28, 1986, while walking home with his wife after a late night movie - without bodyguards. Lisbet Palme was also injured in the shooting by a shot in her arm/shoulder.

Christer Pettersson was arrested in December 1988, identified by Mrs. Palme, with some hesitation, as the killer. Beforehand she had been informed that the suspected killer was a drug addict, and when confronted with Petterson in a line up, Mrs. Palme said "It's him. Anyone can see that he is a junkie." Pettersson was tried and convicted of Palme's murder, but he was later acquitted on appeal to the High Court. Thus, Olof Palme's murder remains unsolved.
