Lisa Kelly (Irish Laoise ní Cheallaigh) hails from Dublin, Ireland and has been singing since the age of 7. Born in to a musical family, both her parents and sisters are singers; it was here she developed her love for music, especially musicals. Classically trained in both piano and singing and has studied Drama, Lisa started her professional career in musicals and has played many successful roles including “Velma Kelly” in Chicago, “Florence” in Chess, “Laurie” in Oklahoma, "Maria" in West Side Story, and “Sandy” in Grease. She also played the lead role in the Gaiety Christmas Panto, “Jack and the Beanstalk”. Lisa has also performed in many concerts in Dublin’s National Concert Hall, “The Magic of Gershwin”, “The music of Cole Porter” and “From Romberg to Rodgers” to name but a few.
In 2000, Lisa joined the American touring production of Riverdance-The Show as lead female vocalist. She toured with the show for four years taking in cities such as LA, Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York, Miami, Toronto and many more.
In 2002, Lisa recorded her debut album entitled “Lisa”. She is currently working on her second album.
One of the highlights of Lisa’s career has been her involvement with the show “Celtic Woman”. The show was recorded in the Helix Theatre, Dublin in September 2004 to a sell out audience and has been broadcast all over the US by the American Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). On Saint Patrick's Day 2005, Celtic Woman performed outside Rockefeller Center New York and also performed at the Governor’s Ball.
