She is best known for her radio show with Ed Lover and Doctor Dre on Hot 97 FM. In 2002, they helped launch Power 105.1. For three years, she worked on WOR. (All these stations are based in New York City). She has also worked on TV and written for magazines, including ESPN2's show, 'Living It Up with Ali & Jack', Us Weekly Magazine, and has been a correspondent for many other outlets. She can currently be heard on Howard 100 News on Sirius Satellite Radio. On February 27, 2007 Jason Kaplan of Page 69, a gossip segment of the Howard 100 News uncovered that Lisa G. had been complaining to the staff of the popular website the Stern Fan Network whenever anyone made a post (good or bad) about her. She originally began once in a while requesting the removal of posts she didn't like, but then increased her whining to a weekly basis. This revelation caused the members of the Stern Fan Network to go on a rampage, creating non stop threads dedicated to her, on the Howard Stern forum of said website.[citation needed]
