Liquid Zen is a duo of contemporary musicians active in the genres of electronica and ambient music. Operating out of San Antonio, Texas, the duo consists of Damian Rodriguez, who plays electric and acoustic guitars, and Roland St. John Perez, who plays guitars and everything elseābass, synthesizers, percussion and drum machines, flute, and vocals.[1][2] They cite a wide range of influences for their music, including Brian Eno, Bent, and Ennio Morricone. St. John Perez also formed his own independent record label, Seventy Three Records, to release music by Liquid Zen and other artists.
