Lionel Nallet

Lionel Nallet (born 14 September 1976 in Bourg-en-Bresse) is a French rugby union footballer, currently playing for Castres Olympique in the Top 14 club competition in France. His usual position is at lock, and he has played for France. He played for CS Bourgoin-Jallieu from 1998 to 2003, then moving to Castres.

Nallet made his international debut for France On May 28 in 2000 in a test match against Romania at Bucharest's Dinamo Stadion. France won the match 67 points to 20, with Nallet actually scoring a try on debut. He next played for his country the following year, in a match against England during the 2001 Six Nations Championship. Nallet made another five appearances for France that year; playing in test matches against the Springboks, All Blacks, Australia and Fiji.

He did not play any internationals for France during 2002, the next time he played for France was in June of 2003, in matches against Argentina and the All Blacks. He did not play at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia or in 2004. He played four times for France during November of 2005. He was a part of France's 2006 Six Nations Championship victory and was subsequently included in the national squad for the mid-year tests against Romania and the Springboks.
