Talk:Link exchange

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page needs more clean-up than I care to do (The wording is poor for one). Someone else take a stab at it please. TheBilly 23:34, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

This should be cleaned up with due regard to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, under "Instruction Manuals". The text of this article seems to branch towards a "how to rank high on google" instruction manual.71.110.129.80 09:52, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

Anyone remember the company Link Exchange, banners for websites would be distributed etc...I think their website redirects to some Microsoft small business deal now, anyone know what happened with that? --Fxer 20:40, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Why link exchange.

I find it helpful to craft an experimental web page with in your own domain and the start establishing your link exchanges. Be sure to link with creditable web sites. Also optimize your site so that it can be interpreted by the crawlers. Keep track of where your hts are coming from. Who ever is giving you the best return emphasize on that link. Be friendly and know how to share. Do not cheat or think that you're smarter than the search engines. For example: don’t over load your web page with repeated keywords, specially with hidden keywords that are camouflaged in to the background; this may eventually end up working against you. Remember to allow up to 6 months before you see any changes or progress. If you want to see a sample of what I have created you can visit my web site at http://www.efriedman.com/ice_machines.html. If you have any ideas e-mail me: rifkimartin@gmail.com. Good luck and my best wishes.
