Linux-Magazin

Linux-Magazin (ISSN 1432-640X) is a German professional journal. It addresses itself to readers who work professionally with the Linux operating system. The Linux Magazin is the second oldest magazine about Linux in the world. The first issue appeared in October 1994 as information paper for the DELUG, the German Linux Users' Group. The slogan of the magazine is „Die Zeitschrift für Linux-Professionals“ (German for The magazine for Linux-Professionals).

The magazine is published every first Thursday of the month. One issue costs since issue 11/2004 5,50 EUR in Germany, 6,30 EUR in Austria, 11,00 sfr in Switzerland and R$ 14,90 in Brazil (or EUR 6,50 in Portugal).
