From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lino Marzorati (born October 12, 1986 in Rho, province of Milan) is an Italian football player. He plays at right fullback or wingback for Empoli F.C., on loan from A.C. Milan.
Defined to be talented by AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, Marzorati, who played for the team's youth academy, was called to join the first team squad during the 2004-2005 season.
He played for the Italy in the FIFA World Youth Championship 2005.
He is expected to be the successor of legendary right wingback Cafu, and he has already shown the potential to live up to his potential, with his fast, strong, clever play on the ground.
During his loan spell at Empoli, he played most of the matches in which he participated from the start, including their match against Milan.
For most of his career Marzorati's last name had been spelled with two t's, but in early 2007 he announced it was an error and his name is spelled only with one t. [1]
[edit] Internationals
He made his International under-21 debut against Luxembourg on December 12, 2006.
