Lingwa de Planeta
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lingwa de Planeta is an international auxiliary language, created by Dmitry Ivanov, Elena Ivanova, Asya Vinogradova and Anastasia Lysenko.
The main language sources are English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, French, Italian, Novial; additional: Turkish, Ukrainian, Esperanto, Finnish, Japanese, Swedish, others.
The most distinctive feature of LdP, in which it differs from nearly all the other planned languages, is that it imports many words and grammatical elements from non-European languages, and at the same time is highly naturalistic. Sometimes you could think that it's just a mixture of words of various languages, but in fact there is a system, of course. LdP is created as a simple grammatical scheme allowing the use of international vocabulary without serious deformations.
