William Lindsay Tisch is a New Zealand politician. He is a member of the National Party. He joined the party in 1966, and has held a number of senior roles in its organisational wing. In 1994, he served briefly as the party's president, and in the 1996 elections, he was the party's campaign manager. He was first elected to Parliament himself in the 1999 elections, representing the electorate of Karapiro. He retained his seat in the 2002 elections, however it had changed its name to Piako, and currently serves as National's Senior Whip. Before being elected to Parliament, Tisch was a company director and management consultant. He is a Justice of the Peace.
