Lindsay Rush

Lindsay Melissa Rush (born May 6, 1986 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.
She released her first album, Real Life independently in April 2005. She expects to release her second album, August Day in summer 2006.
For the meantime, her limited acoustic album, Makeup Off would contains 10 of the 13 tracks from her August Day album would be released on October 9, 2006. Makeup Off is just her and her guitar.
Rush has opened for Lisa Loeb (who called her "a great songwriter"), and performed at various folk festivals and benefit converts. Rush is a spokesperson for the National Mental Health Association's "mpower:musicians for mental health" campaign, and has signed an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock Guitars.
