Lindsay MacFarland (aka Lindsay Siggelkow) was born on August 2, 1978, in Las Vegas, NV. Her father, Larry Siggelkow, and her mother, Angela Siggelkow, owned and operated a Grand Canyon Tour Airline called Lang Air. Her father now is the president of Vision Airlines.
MacFarland attended private schools for junior high and high school. She was accepted and attended the University of Nevada, Reno for her first year of college. She then transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she finished her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in 2001.
In her early twenties, MacFarland moved to Los Angeles, CA where she has been steadily working as an actress in numerous films, television, and commercials.

MacFarland's career started in the Las Vegas local theatre scene when she was very young. MacFarland studied theatre at The Rainbow Company, and starred in numerous local plays. MacFarland's most notable theatre roles was her supporting role in Evita, and her leading role as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
MacFarland directed and starred in her first short film "The Storm" when she was 11 to earn extra credit points for her English class. Soon to follow was her first feature length film "Summer of Fear" at the age of 12.
MacFarland started concentrating more on her craft in 2000 when she landed the spokesmodel role for Cadillac, and hosted a cable show ("Totally Band in Vegas") in which she also produced.
In her early twenties, MacFarland felt there was more to the entertainment industry than Las Vegas had to offer. Thus, she moved out to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a more professional career. It wasn't long after, she landed the leading role in Camden 2001, which became the Official Selection at the California Independent Film Festival that year.
MacFarland was then able to join the Screen Actors Guild. In 2004, MacFarland booked a supporting role in the film A Lot Like Love, opposite Ashton Kutcher. This lead to her booking several other roles, including the independent film A Life That Matters.
In 2005, MacFarland booked a supporting role opposite Eric Bana for the film Lucky You, due for release in 2007. She then went on to star as the lead in the film E&A, set to run the film festival market in 2007.
In September, 2006, MacFarland landed a hosting job for Nissan's internet site. She is the host for the Nissan Quest Minivan.

MacFarland is the middle of three siblings.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

- MacFarland worked as a precision driver for a (2007) Mazda commercial.
- MacFarland was Ana Claudia Talancón's stunt-double in The Virgin of Juarez.
- MacFarland photo-doubled for Claire Danes in Terminator 3.
- MacFarland was the hand-double for Hilary Swank in the film Freedom Writers (2007). She had to learn to write left-handed to emulate Swank's actions.
- MacFarland graduated in (2001) from UNLV with a Communication Studies degree, and a minor in Psychology.
- MacFarland competed in volleyball in high school. In (1992), she was captain of the team, and they were undefeated that year.
