Linda Rosenthal

Linda B. Rosenthal represents District 67 in the New York State Assembly, which includes parts of Manhattan's Upper West Side and Clinton neighborhoods. In the Assembly, Rosenthal sits on the Housing, Energy, Agriculture, Corporations, and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Committees. In 2006, the New York State Legislature passed Assemblymember Rosenthal's landmark legislation allowing court orders of protection to be extended to pets.

First elected in March of 2006, Rosenthal previously served as an assistant to Congressman Jerry Nadler for thirteen years.

She was preceded in office by former Assemblyman-and current Manhattan Borough President-Scott Stringer.
