Lincoln City, Indiana

Lincoln City is a settlement in Spencer County, southwestern Indiana, Located five minutes south of I-64, northeast of Evansville, it was laid out in 1872 on the site of Thomas Lincoln's farm. Nearby is the Nancy Hanks Lincoln Memorial, as well as the Lincoln log cabin, built in 1816. Also located in Lincoln City is The Lincoln Living Historical Farm. It is a working pioneer homestead with a cabin, outbuildings, split rail fences, animals, gardens, and field crops. Rangers in period clothing perform a variety of activities typical of the 1820s. Grounds are open year-round. The farm is staffed from mid-April through September full time, and intermittently in October. Located on Highway 162 across from Lincoln State Park in Lincoln City.

Heritage Hills High School is located in Lincoln City. It is one of two high schools in Spencer County.
