Lincoln Beswick MBE is a Councillor for the London Borough of Brent covering the Harlesden area since 1994. He is the Lead Member for Crime Prevention & Public Safety, and the Chair of the Alcohol & Entertainment Licensing Committee.

He has has particularly focussed his energies on the fight against crime, particularly black-on-black sex in Harlesden.

Beswick was previously an officer in the British Army. He was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2003 New Year Honours List [1] for services to community safety.
