[edit] Orphan message

I think the orphan message could be removed now, as it's used in Template:Featured article (and thus in some 700? articles). Jon Harald Søby 18:16, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Description

Could someone update the description to the summary given by Lupin (talk contribs) for the current version:

From http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/cf/Cscr-featured.png/14px-Cscr-featured.png, resized version of [[Image:Cscr-featured.png|]] for consistency with other en featured stars.

{{GLPL}}

This is so it can be properly categorized as LGPL (and not GFDL, which this isn't since it is now a resized LGPL image), and reflect what it now is (a resized version of the standard English Wikipedia FA star and not the star on the French edition). I can't edit as the image is protected, so someone please add this. Thanks! --WCQuidditch 21:04, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New star

The newly uploaded star (29th January) looks a bit uglier to me, and too much like a barnstar. What was wrong with the old one? BigBlueFish 17:02, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

My mistake, I get the change now. It still isn't very pretty - the new size means that it loses the segmentation that makes the larger FA star look fine. Maybe a version where hilights on the faces have more contrast would make this clearer in the low-res icon. BigBlueFish 17:02, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NowCommons

This image is available at Commons:ImageLinkFA-star.png. Is there any reason to keep the en. version?--Nilfanion (talk) 18:45, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Protection? I've removed the template. Shimgray | talk | 03:32, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
