Lim Boon Heng

Lim Boon Heng (林文興, born November 18, 1947) is the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and a member of the Cabinet of Singapore. He is a Member of Parliament representing Jurong GRC. He is also the Chairman of the People's Action Party and until January 31, 2006, Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress.
According to ChannelNews Asia, Lim Boon Heng's achievements were his efforts in pushing for a flexible wage system and convincing workers of the necessity for the reductions in the employers' contribution to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) in the past [1].
