[edit] Lighthouse Interactive
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Lighthouse Interactive, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. So i have to adjust the article?
- Yeah. The main problem is that the article text is copied from another site. Unless permission is given for that text to be used, it will have to be removed (see Wikipedia:Copyrights for more information). The other thing is that Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view, thus the text cannot read like an advertisement. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page. - Akamad 10:58, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Owke, but the page where it is from is mine. Is it oke then? And it shouldn't be for commercial purpuse? I'll change the text and hope that then it will be oke. The only thing we want is that people now where we from and what we do.
- If that's the situation. Then it seems there is a possible conflict of interest. See the Conflict of interest guideline page. But if you write the text from a neutral point of view it shouldn't be a major problem. - Akamad 20:27, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry let me reprhase that, if you work for, or represent the Lighthouse Interactive company, then there is a possible conflict of interest. If you website is not affiliated with LI, then that guideline probably will not apply. But the text of the article will still have to be from a neutral point of view. - Akamad 00:36, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
