Light Heavyweight (MMA)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The light heavyweight division in mixed martial arts generally refers to competitors weighing between 186 and 205 lb (84 and 93 kg). It sits between the lighter middleweight division, and the heavyweight division.

There are some alternate interpretations of the term. In PRIDE FC, the 205-pound division is known as middleweight; there is no division named light heavyweight in PRIDE. In the K-1 HERO's Light Heavyweight Tournament, competitors are set to a weight limit of 187 lb (85 kg). [1]

For the purpose of uniformity, the competitors below weigh between 186 and 205 lb.
