Lift is a single of the rock band Poets of the Fall. It is the second single released from their debut album, Signs of Life. The single contains two versions of the title track, as well as the exclusive B-side song, "The Beautiful Ones". It reached number 8 in the Finnish Top 40 and stayed there for 11 weeks in a row.
Captain, one of the band's members, produced a dance remix of the song, entitled Lift (Dramadance Remix) (06:35). It is only available to download (as an MP3 or WAV file) on the secret page of the band's official website which can be accessed thanks to the special login and password from the Signs of Life album booklet.

Various trivia from the music video:
- The guitarist's father appeared in the video as one of the old men.
- The video only took one day to shoot, but two months of post production. It was entirely shot with green screens.
- One of the animators starred as a guard when the original actor got sick.
