Lifest

Lifest is an annual Christian music festival that takes place in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at the Sunnyview Expo fairgrounds. Lifest started in 1999, and is five days long for the first time in 2006. It is held on or around the second weekend of July. In 2005, Lifest had approximately 74,000 attendees [1]. Lifest currently features around 150 artists [2] on 7 stages. The festival is a member of the Christian Festival Association.
Musically, Lifest has featured a wide range of groups such as Newsboys, Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, Tobymac, Third Day, MercyMe, Skillet, Reliant K, Avalon, Kirk Franklin, Rebecca St. James, Casting Crowns, Newsong, Hawk Nelson, Plus One, Jump 5, Tait, Audio Adrenaline, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, Salvador, Kutless, Superchick, Pillar and many more.
Lifest also has speakers and seminars as an integral part of the festival. Speakers have included Bob Lenz, Tiffany Thompson, Tony Campolo, Bob Smiley, Scott Spencer, Ken Davis, and many more.
Lifest has camping available, as well as many vendors. Lifest is run by Life Promotions, and requires over 1,600 volunteers [3].
