Life Made Simple (阿旺新傳) is a 32-episode modernized version of the hit TVB series "Square Pegs" (2002-2003), which broke TVB's record for highest rated television drama of all time in 2003. It started airing from October 24, 2005 on Hong Kong's TVB Jade Channel. The show won Roger Kwok the Best Actor award and Angela Tong the Best Supporting Actress Award in the TVB Anniversary Awards in 2005. At the end of its run this series broke TVB's rating record for a TVB series in 2005 with highest single night rating of 43pts.

The series is about a man in his mid-thirties who has a mental disability causing him to have the mental capacity of a young primary school student (about 9 years old). He is best friends with a women whom he known in kindergarten. He is also looked after by his mother, his father left them thinking that their son is useless. He also have a younger brother whom he didn't know had a crush on his best friend.
