[edit] Friendship with Melchett

Would it right to say that Melchett is a family friend of George. From the story of George's rabbit and various references to Uncle Bertie, it would seem that Melchett was friends with George's parents. Thus would the phrase "Melchett is a family friend of George" ( or similar) better suit the article than "shares a special friendship with"
