Liege Lord legendary American speed/power metal band, active in the 1980s and considered to be one of the true pioneers of the genre. Reaching cult status in the Metal world with their three releases, the band featured Joe Comeau, who would later go on to play with thrash metal bands Overkill and Annihilator. Guitarist Paul Nelson received a Grammy nomination as guitarist and song writer with Johnny Winter on Virgin/EMI, and he reached Billboard chart's top 200 with the band Halifax. Nelson did guitar work for the WWE (then WWF) on nationally broadcast television specials.
