Please be advised that the two-silver-bar rank insignia you have displayed on this page is that of a Captain in the US Army or US Air Force. US Navy and US Marine Corps officers of equivalent rank also wear a two-silver-bars insignia, but it is slightly different in appearance and size. In the USN/USMC version of this insignia, the two silver bars are connected at each end. The over-coat version of the USN/USMC rank is larger than the USA/USAF version, and the collar version of the USN/USMC version is smaller.
