This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request nor add another unblock request.

Request reason: "I shouldn't be blocked for this, the other user made no effort to discuss it and just removed it with no explanations. It was a cited fact"

Decline reason: "No edit warring, please. — Yamla 04:12, 23 March 2007 (UTC)"

This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.
I blocked you because I warned you both several times about making unproductive edits. You made no effort to resolve the dispute on the talk page for the discography or in the numerous other revert wars you have gotten yourself engaged in. The one edit you made to the discography talk page merely stated that "[a]n admin agreed with the inclusion months ago", with no further specifics. Your continued hostile behavior to other editors, your perceived ownership of articles, and your edit warring are the reasons why I blocked you. Enjoy your day off. -Mysekurity 03:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tupac's birth name

Please stop changing his birth name. His official website (click on the 2Pac) says that Tupac is his birth name, and unless you provide a more verifiable source, I'm going to revert it. Besides, other websites that state his birth name is the unnofficial one state that it's Lesane Parish, not Parish Lesane. -Mysekurity 04:14, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it has been discussed, but I believe there was no consensus. The 7 internet sources Jowan2005 cited are not nearly notable enough to be a verifiable source. Tupac's own official website says nothing about his "Crooks" identity, and the research I have done into the non-verifiabe websites is that the information seems to be based on a rumor about Afeni changing the name immediately following birth, but this appears to be false too. If this continues, I'm going to ask for a request for comment. -Mysekurity 22:39, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
It's not an official book. It wasn't released by his family. And the story's still open. On the Amazon page, it says "with the cooperation of Tupac's family"—Not "released by Tupac's family as an official biography". Let's cut this rumor off here and now. -Mysekurity 02:44, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. -Mysekurity 05:40, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] RFC/discussion of article Tupac Shakur

Hello, License2Kill. As a prominent contributor to Tupac Shakur, you may want to be aware that a request for comments has been filed about it. The RFC can be found by the article's name in this list, and the actual discussion can be found on Talk:Tupac Shakur, in case you wish to participate. Thank you for your contributions. -- Mysekurity 06:18, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

What do you think of the compromise to include LPC as an alias? -Mysekurity 01:27, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR on The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory

You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule on The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. You and MJukmix need to discuss it on the talk page. I'm not going to warn you again. -Mysekurity 07:18, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

He is the one that is reverting a cited fact. License2Kill 02:31, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but it is still in violation of the 3RR. Would you like me to protect the page until you both can work it out on the talk page? -Mysekurity 02:48, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
I'll tell you what I told him: If either of you revert one more time, I will block you. Please use the talk page to discuss this issue. If it isn't solved by March 18 (UTC), I will protect the page. -Mysekurity 02:53, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
He's still reverting a cited fact just because he doesn't believe it. That would be like me removing the sentence that states Eminem has sold 70 million albums. It is sited so there is no reason to remove it License2Kill 02:57, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but he seems to have reason to believe the cite is incorrect. Regardless, you both need to work it out on the talk page. Please stop logging out and using your ip address to re-add the content. It's still considered a violation of the 3RR, and as a result, I am blocking that ip from editing for the next 48 hours. -Mysekurity 03:32, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy by engaging in an edit war without discussing it adequately.. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. You may also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list instead, or mail unblock-en-l@mail.wikimedia.org. -Mysekurity 02:22, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2007

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Tupac Shakur. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. Ocatecir Talk 00:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I feel I have to continually tell you this. If you don't stop your belligerent behavior, I will block you again. -Mysekurity 21:48, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

I would like to talk with you over e-mail or IRC. Your e-mail isn't set up with Wikipedia, but please feel free to e-mail me (my username @ gmail). Thank you. -Mysekurity 21:49, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

If you have Gmail or Google Talk, I am available via that, or I'm also (rarely) on AIM as mysekurity. -Mysekurity 03:43, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Can we please discuss this over e-mail first? I will be quite busy lately, and have little time for AIM... -Mysekurity 04:23, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Nice talking to you. -Mysekurity 04:26, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Now that isn't nice. If you have a problem with me, let me know. I've been more than willing to look at the book, save for the fact that Borders is closed when I am available to go. You have my word I'll check it out next week, when I'll be available. Don't work too hard, and try to get some sleep. -Mysekurity 04:29, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

But I haven't excluded any facts. I've put them in with the book as a citation, in addition to the alternative viewpoint in accordance with Wikipedia's neutrality policy. As I have said over and over, we do not have official confirmation from the family (despite what you say), and therefore this is unverifiable. I said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm quite busy this week, but you have my word I'll check out the book as soon as I can (and hell, if it looks good, I may even buy it). Happy editing, Mysekurity 04:08, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
