The LIBELLE keylength is not 168, but only 160 Bit (cf this page), so it's most likely no 3DES clone (unless the BSI wanted to have 8 Bits padded by a known value or have them derived from the keymat. This rather resembles keylengths (and maybe some form of checksum/integrity value) as found in BATON or other classified algorithms floating around. (Just my 2 cents) Sigkill 10:44, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
