A Libre Community is a community of practice or community of interest etc. which subscribes to the libre knowledge philosophy about knowledge sharing. The Libre Manifesto portrays the spirit of libre communities.

The most established libre communities tend to be associated with Libre knowledge, Free Software, Free Culture and education.
