Liborio Mejía

Liborio Mejía (Born in Rionegro on July 28, 1792 - Died in Bogotá on September 3, 1816) was a Colombian politician and patriot of the War of Independence from Spain. At the age of 24, Mejía was President of the United Provinces of New Granada (Present day Colombia) during the war of independence from Spain during the reconquering campaign leaded by Spanish Pablo Morillo.
