Libby Hathorn

Libby Hathorn is an Australian children's author. She is the author of more than forty books for children and young adults, including Thunderwith, All About Anna and Feral Kid. Thunderwith has been made into a television move entitled The Echo of Thunder, starring Judy Davis, Ernie Dingo, Lauren Hewett and Emily Browning.

She has received many awards for her books, some of which have been translated into several languages. In 2001 she was awarded a Centenary Medal for her contribution to children’s literature.

Hathorn was born in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia and is one of four children. She enjoyed reading and writing as a child. She has two children, Lisa and Kieran.
