Liam James Hammond was a fictional character on the ITV1 soap Emmerdale in the UK. He was played by Mark Powley. He was the illegitimate son of Frank Tate. On 11 November 1999, Liam was shot dead by his half-sister Zoe during a stand-off with her and their brother Chris.
