I graduated with a B.S. in computer science (theory track) and mathematics from Columbia University in New York City in 2006. Currently, I am a software engineer in the MS Office Division of Microsoft Corporation (Redmond, WA). I have deferred graduate (Ph.D.) admissions in computer science to UCSC (Santa Cruz, CA) until Fall 2008.
My primary interests in computer science are machine learning, quantum computation, computational learning theory, information/coding theory, and statistical NLP.
My primary interests in mathematics are combinatorics and computational linear algebra.
Previously, I have worked as a teaching assistant for the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Mathematics at Columbia University.
In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, puzzles, trivia, reading, console (XBox 360) and PC video games, and recreational mathematics.
I am a regular contributor to Wikipedia. In general, I assist in the editing and writing on the math, computer science, and general theory articles.
