Lexia Readable

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lexia Readable font, broadly based on Comic Sans, has been designed specifically for dyslexia.

It attempts to avoid some possible dyslexic confusions (e.g. b and d, q and p) by slightly altering the standard shapes. It may be particularly useful for anyone with dyslexia type tendencies by creating clearer distinctions between characters with a similar shape or appearance. The font can be installed on a PC in the usual way but problems occur if a document is to be viewed on a PC that does not have the font installed; the display will probably default to Comic Sans or similar.
