Lex is a fictional axe knight from the Fire Emblem series of role-playing video games, more specifically the Super Famicom game Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. He shows up with Azel at second turn in the Prologue chapter of the game.

He is a descendant of Axe Crusader Neir. He is from Dozel dukedom. He is the son of the avaricious Langobalt and younger brother of Danan. He hates his family, and his father Langobalt hates Sigurd's father Byron (Vylon). Langobalt assassinated Prince Kult on the way back from Grandbell's war with the Kingdom of Isaac, and the holy axe Swanchika is an enemy-only holy weapon, along with the Falaflame, Gungnir, and Thorhammer. Lex is the first Fire Emblem character to be mounted on a horse and wield an axe, and the second one is his nephew Johan. He tends to be used by most players due to the fact that he gets early in the game a really good axe (the Hero Axe). His promoted form, Great Knight class, has been carried over to the Game Boy Advance game Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki (The Sacred Stones), as an alternate promoted form for the Armor Knight (knight)and Social Knight (Cavalier) classes. He has a special skills called Machibuse (Ambush) and Elite. Lex is a descendant of the Axe Crusader Neir, but because he only has Minor Neir blood, he would not be able to use the Swanchika even if it was an obtainable item, the same holds true for Azel (Minor Fala) and Tiltyu (Minor Torodo), as only those of Major Blood can wield the holy items.

Lex is also Holyn's rival for the heart of a swordfighter named Ayra the Princess of Isaac. Several players of Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu pair Ayra with Lex, but most others pair Ira with Holyn. His brother Danan is the dictator of Isaac. Danan's regime was derived from the Isaacian-Grandbellian conflict. According to Sigurd's son Celice, the Isaacian people largely suffered under Danan's regime. Lex's nephews, and Danan's sons, Johan and Johalva are obsessed with Ayra's daughter Lakche. Lakche can only recruit only one of them, and after the recruit, she must kill the other one. Johan's class is the same as Lex's class, but Johalva fights on foot. Most players of Seisen no Keifu choose Johalva. A disturbing fact about Lex is that pairing Ayra with him and then pair Johan or Johalva with Lakche constitutes first-cousin marriage.
