Lewis Bernaldo de Quirós is an English aikido teacher currently resident in The Netherlands. With over 10 years previous training in judo and karate he encountered aikido at the age of 23. From 1984 until 1991 he trained full time under Morihiro Saito Sensei in Iwama, Japan.

Since his return he has been busy teaching at all levels both nationally and abroad and has accompanied both Morihiro Saito Sensei and his son, Hitohiro Saito Sensei many times at seminars in Europe as assistant and also as translator. Lewis was awarded 5th dan Aikikai by Morihiro Saito Sensei in 1999.
