Lewis Center, Ohio

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lewis Center is an unincorporated community in Delaware County, Ohio, located between Columbus and Delaware. Its ZIP code is 43035. Lewis Center proper consists of a small village in Orange Township. However, its mailing address area encompasses a number of shopping centers and retail establishments that line U.S. Route 23 in the vicinity of the village. The Lewis Center area lies on the east side of the Olentangy River, across from the city of Powell, and west of Alum Creek State Park. It is one of the most rapidly developing areas around Columbus. It is large enough to be considered a city if incorporated, but many residents oppose a formal incorporation of the area.[attribution needed]
