Leukaemia Research is a British charitable organisation, established in 1960 whose aim is to research leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma, aplastic anaemia, myelodysplasia, the myeloproliferative disorders and the related blood disorders in both children and adults.

Its patron is the Duke of Kent and the current president is Ian Botham.

It receives no government grants and depends entirely on voluntary donations. A substantial part of the money needed to fight these diseases is raised by more than 150 voluntary Branches across England, Scotland and Wales. They organise many events to raise money, some run Bikeathons.
Bikeathons are recreational cycle rides, where the emphasis is on family fun whilst helping raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund. Cyclists of all ages and abilities can enjoy great rides along fully marshalled routes, with checkpoints and refreshments stops along the way.
