Someone should add a disambiguation page that links to the MC Hammer album for this page...

[edit] The Sims

Anyone think it's worth mentioning that a Simlish version of this song was included in The Urbz: Sims in the City game? Was really quite amusing, IMHO. -Shane Lawrence 02:05, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes I second your idea, but I don't know enough about the Simlish version to add anything. Fez2005 07:00, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Music Video

I removed the following text as it does not seem to make sense: "The crowd has about 300 people, occasionally throwing someone into the sky. At the end, a broken piano rewinds how it fell from the sky."

Although I would guess that the first sentance refers to throwing people "up", it might mean that people are thrown considerably higher. I did not want to guess...

The second sentance does not even suggest a reasonable guess.

[edit] Wrong title?

Shouldn't the page be "Let's Get Retarded" with a redirect from "Let's Get it Started" instead of the other way around since that's the original title of the song? Leoroc 15:02, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Which do you prefer?

Started or retarded?

I think Started is much better.

-G

Considering that Retarded is the actual song, and Started is just the radio edit, the former should have the page describing it. However, the article describes the radio edit, so the page is properly named, unless someone fixes the article. -Eric Sieck 23:24, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, even if this article is about the radio edit version, there should deffinently be an article about the actual song. -- Kevin (TALK)(MUSIC) 01:24, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Epilepsy

There is another edit to Retarded that is different in Starded. In the original, apl says "Bop you head like epilepsy" but in Started, he says, "Bop your head like me, apl de". Do you think that it was because they also didn't want to offend epileptics? And if so, maybe that should also be put in the article. --User:Mike Bags
