[edit] Plot
The game focuses on the actions of Twi'lek Rianna Saren and her droid Zeeo, who are assigned by the Rebel Alliance to steal a partial set of schematics for the Death Star. The player will travel throughout the galaxy to locations like Danuta, the Death Star, Mustafar, and Tatooine. Rianna also has a past history with an Empire affiliated slave master named Kheev (who remains the main villain throughout the game), who she used to be a slave to. After a failed escape attempt, Kheev cut off one of Rianna's lekku.
[edit] Characters
Throughout the game, Rianna and Zeeo will run into characters such as:
[edit] Gameplay
Lethal Alliance focuses on shooting rather than lightsabers, and The Force. The DS version of the game makes heavy use of the touch screen for gameplay, while the PSP version utilizes the handheld's buttons. The PSP version has better graphics, whereas the DS has an exclusive weapon called the Dual Cannon. The PSP version also lets the player utilize "stealth" features such as stealth attack moves, sneaking past enemies, and wearing disguises.
[edit] MiniGames
Many puzzles are presented when the player slices into computers, making the player have to solve puzzles or play a minigame. The following minigames are available:
Squares: A simple puzzle of rolling squares to match the image on the side to the same image on the board. This is not timed but the number of moves is limited.
LEDs: LEDs turn from green to red, one by one. The object is to duplicate the order of the LEDs.
Mines: Occurs when defusing red mines, this minigame probably has the worst instructions of all the minigames. It’s a combination of matching and dodging a roving charge. This is a timed puzzle.
Capture the Droid: Occurs when playing as Zeeo to take control of an attack droid, this game requires that the stylus[verification needed] is used to fire and control a laser from three different sides. When the beam is held on the droid for several seconds, 1/3 of an enclosed circle forms around the droid. This is a timed puzzle. Afterwards, the captured droid can be controlled and used to kill stormtroopers.
Laser Wall: The player must avoid the oncoming laser wall by using Zeeo to move the blocks around, pull out the generators on the left, right, and top, and shooting them.
[edit] Multiplayer
Both versions utilize Wi-Fi and local area connections for multiplayer gaming.
The PSP version features Twi'lek (Rianna's species) vs. Twi'lek, while the DS features droid versus droid.
