Letter Kills was a rock band from Southern California. The band formed in August of 2002. [1] They are signed to Island Records [2] and produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank)

The band cites their Christian beliefs as the reason they got together. The name Letter Kills comes from Second Corinthians 3:6 - "for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." [3]

Their first album The Bridge was a 12 track album released July 2 2004.

They have toured the United States, both with Story of the Year as part of the Nintendo Fusion Tour and on Vans Warped Tour. [4]

The band is believed to have broken up. The fact that Island Records' website does not include them in the artist section and the band's site being taken down further supports this theory.
