Lethal Weapon (video game)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lethal Weapon is a video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy in 1992 by Ocean. It is a side-scroller, in which you choose one of the police partners (Mel Gibson or Danny Glover) and battle it out with criminals around the city and surrounding area using fists, guns, and grenades. It is considered by many to be extremely difficult and frustrating in the fact that punching an enemy is more effective than shooting an enemy! It has minimal music and sparse interesting scenery.

There was another version of the game released for the day's home computer formats and the Super NES. It's a rather difficult side-scroller where you play as either Riggs or Murtaugh and have to complete five missions in order to go on to the sixth and final mission. The first five have you trying to do things such as to rescue Leo Getz, stop a dockside smuggling operation, and to prevent terroists from blowing up the city's sewer system.
