Let Love Lead The Way is the one of the debut singles (and final singles) from the Spice Girls third LP, Forever.
This is the official single paying tribute to former band mate, Geri Halliwell (who departed in May 1998). However the success of Let Love Lead The Way did not meet the success of its predecessor, Goodbye.
The single was released international as a double A-side single with Holler. However the single was not released within the US. The song peaked at number one in the UK and went top ten in eleven different countries.

[edit] US Release
Confusion was set among fans when Emma Bunton spoke to MTV US about the lead single from their forthcoming album. She stated that Let Love Lead The Way would be released as a single within the US, however this statement was made months before the official single and album release. The album was still receiving touch ups from producers and mixers at the time the statement was made.
The Girls had absolutely no intentions of releasing Let Love Lead The Way within the US. Instead plans were to move forward with the song Weekend Love as the second single within the US (and Asia). While the UK would receive If You Wanna Have Some Fun and the rest of the world received Tell Me Why. Weekend Love, If You Wanna Have Some Fun and Tell Me Why were to all see International and US releases just at different times.
[edit] Music video
The video has each of the girls portraying one of the four elements, as shown through their outfits and surrounding environment. Emma showed Earth, dressed in a blue/green dress and alternately reclining and dancing in a beautiful forest, underneath a large oak tree. Melanie B. portrayed Air, dressed entirely in white and dancing in a bright white room with the canvas walls billowing outwards as if being blown by the wind, and white feathers continuously fall from the sky. Victoria represented Fire, in a dark red dress, slow dancing in a barren desert at night, with bursts of fire flaring up behind her, and Melanie C. portrayed Water, dressed in a blue and white top with blue pants, standing on a blue platform in a blue room as water cascaded from the ceiling to the floor. Throughout the verses of the song, the girls danced in their own areas, and joined together in one of the rooms for the chorus. Towards the end of the song, separate elements beginning to join together, such as water falling down in the fiery desert and feathers blowing through Emma's forest. The song finishes with a slow motion shot of each of the girls in their own areas, and then a final shot of each of them together in the White Room.
